INSPIRATIONAL CORNER
Hi my name is Will Bayley! I am a Paralympic table tennis player and silver medalist in London 2012 Paralympic games.   I got diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma aged 9 and had 2 years of treatment, including chemotherapy at Great Ormond Street Hospital.   I've played sport my entire life tennis, badminton, cricket!   But when I was 10 my grandma bought me a table tennis table as she knew I loved sport and with me being so sick I couldn't play contact sport! So table tennis it was!

From the minute I picked up the bat I loved it!! I think having the hurdles I have had in my life have made me more determined to be successful in sport and really get the best out of myself everyday, I see life as a gift!   My dream is to inspire other cancer sufferers and disabled children into sport and show them that nothing is impossible!

I think Pink Pong is an amazing charity and I jumped to share my story as I feel passionate about the use of sport to aid people with their road to recovery as well as the everyday      benefits of being active.  Pink Pong uses my favorite sport to raise money and awareness of cancer and this is fantastic!

Above Left to Right: Will was a fighter from a young age, this fight earned him a silver medal in the 2012 London Games and just shows if you “believe” and work hard anything is possible.
